Bamboo: Found throughout China and South
East Asia, bamboo has been used for centuries
as a material to make furniture, baskets,
kitchenware and other household accessories.

and environmentally friendly resource.

Egg
shell: Broken, but fine chicken or
duck egg-shells are glued to the surface.
After the glue has dried, it is then coated
with colour coating, to enhance the mosaic
contour.
After dried for the second time, it is then
being polished with fine glass paper, and
painted with anti-toxic, glossy paint to achieve
a shiny but durable surface.
This technique produces wonderful textures
used in decorative items such as vases, plates,
bowls, etc.

Cement: This highly adaptable material can
be used for both small household items to
large outdoor pots and accessories. Cement
can bicoloured, left natural or mixed with
various materials including coconut husk to
create different effects and textures.

Plant
Leaves: An immeasurable diversity
of tropical Asian tree species provides with
its countless number of botanical leaves shapes,
colours and textures for a beautiful decorative
base material.
Dried in the sun and in combination with
other natural materials skilled craftsmen
create stunning surfaces, colour variations
and creative design elements.
This traditional technique is for instance
deployed in crafting pots, vases, book covers,
photo albums or lamp bases.
