 It
is made from clays which are first ground,
sieved and moistened. They are then thoroughly
kneaded to produce a heavy homogeneous paste
that is soft and flexible. Terracotta has
been known since ages.
Local
clay fired using traditional techniques
provides a unique variety of finishes. Tamarind
juice and coconut oil create black, brown
or speckled effects.
Food safe it
can be used for tableware, made into large
and small decorative items and combined
with other materials.
